Réunion Island is more than a territory lost in the Indian Ocean.
It is an island shaped by contrasts, light, and memory. A land where mountains descend into the sea, where clouds drift slowly across volcanic cliffs, and where every landscape seems inhabited by a silent presence.
This collection was born from a deeply personal connection to my native island. Through these photographs, I am not simply seeking to portray Réunion Island, but to convey what it feels like to belong to it. The warmth of late afternoon light. The lingering humidity after the rain. The immense stillness of the highlands. And the constant feeling that nature remains greater than ourselves.
Each image becomes a trace of memory, a fragment of territory transformed into a contemplative space. The mountains, forests, and volcanic horizons come together in a series where the landscape becomes emotion, silence, and breath.
More than a destination, Réunion Island is, for me, an inner origin.
A land that continues to shape the way I see the world, even from thousands of miles away.
