Tadoussac – Northern Mist

There are mornings when the river seems to breathe softly.

In Tadoussac, summer sometimes offers these rare moments when mist still lingers above the water, like a delicate veil resting gently over the landscape.

The hills slowly appear and disappear behind the drifting fog.
The St. Lawrence becomes almost unreal.
Immense.
Silent.

In the distance, a ferry moves quietly across the water, tracing its path through the stillness of the scene.
Within such a vast landscape, its presence becomes a quiet reminder of how small we are before the immensity of the river.

And yet, how deeply fortunate we are to witness a moment like this.

That morning, everything seemed to slow down.
The wind was nearly absent.
The light remained soft.
And the river appeared to protect the fragile calm of dawn with quiet care.

These are the moments that make me reach for the camera.
To preserve fragments of time when nature simply invites us to look.
To slow down.
To contemplate.
