Forest Awakening

Some mornings, the forest takes its time.

In the highlands, the mist drifts slowly down the mountain.
Clouds brush the ridge, tall spruces rise from the white veil, and the whole landscape seems to breathe in slow motion.

Nothing is rushed.
Only that fragile moment when night withdraws and the light, still quiet, is about to return.

Some images tell the story of a place.
Others tell the story of an awakening.

This photographic work explores passage, that suspended moment when the forest slowly emerges from the silence of the night.

Through the mist wrapping the mountain and the calm presence of the conifers, the image invites you to slow down. It brings the softness of a morning in the wild into your home, a soothing and hopeful atmosphere, like a promise of light to come.
