In the heart of Jacques-Cartier National Park, the water flows slowly, almost in silence.
It does not seek to move faster.
It simply moves forward.
Winding around the stones.
Lingering for a moment before continuing on its path.
Here, time does not disappear.
It stretches outward.
Becoming softer, more expansive.
Like a pause between two departures.
This landscape reminds me of certain trails on Réunion Island.
The same damp stones.
The same quiet murmur.
The same feeling that everything continues, slowly and steadily.
And within this almost motionless movement, something inside us learns to wait differently.
To let things arrive in their own time.
Like the water.
Always continuing forward,
even when it seems perfectly still.
Part of the Parallel Forests series, this work emerges from an artistic journey shaped between two territories, two climates, and two distinct ways of inhabiting the world. Réunion Island and Quebec. Landscapes seemingly worlds apart, yet which, over time, began to resonate with one another on a deeper, more intimate level.

Tracked shipping depending on destination (Canada Post, DHL for France, USPS for the United States). For the US, customs fees may apply on larger formats, as they ship from Canada.
