Boston's reflections

A city never lights up all at once.

One window glows.  
Then another.  
Until the entire skyline seems to breathe beneath the fading light of evening.

That night, Boston felt almost unreal reflected against the still water.

The buildings rose quietly beneath the final warmth of the sunset, their silhouettes softened by the fading sky.

And then the reflections began to reshape the scene.

The city no longer ended at the shoreline.  
It continued into the water, like a luminous echo suspended somewhere between reality and abstraction.

Everything felt impossibly aligned.

The sky.  
The architecture.  
The lights.  
The rare stillness of a city that, for a few brief moments, seemed entirely at rest.

In that moment, Boston no longer felt like a city.
