Seen from above, everything changes.

Lines become invisible pathways.
The palm trees cast shifting shadows, and the world suddenly feels calmer.
More readable.

As though the chaos below slowly fades away, making room for a sense of balance.

I’m drawn to this perspective because it asks us to let go.
To accept no longer being at the center, but simply a gaze suspended above the landscape.

To observe without intervening.
To understand without trying to control.

Among the trees, time slows down.
Light moves gently across the foliage.
Shadows stretch outward.
And nature imposes its own rhythm, patient and silent.

Photographing from above is not about seeking grandeur.
It is about seeking a form of clarity.

That moment when gaining distance suddenly allows us to see differently.
More calmly.
More clearly.

Because silence, when seen from above,
often has something to teach us.

This photographic artwork explores the meeting point between perspective, tropical light, and the feeling of stillness.

Through the natural lines of the palm trees, the interplay of shadows, and the softness of Réunion light, the image seeks less to represent a landscape than to preserve a sensation: that of a gaze slowing down, stepping back, and rediscovering a sense of balance in relation to the world.
