It glides across the pavement, moves through the silence, leaving behind fleeting memories before disappearing.

Above it all, still and watchful, bearing witness to countless crossings and intertwined lives, the Château Frontenac stands guard.
Between shadow and radiance.
Between movement and stillness.

Québec, in one of those suspended moments
when everything feels fragile… and strangely alive.

Part of the Frontenac Silences series, this artwork explores those moments when the city slows down just enough to reveal something else.
A quieter presence.
Something more silent.
Through contrasts of light, empty streets, and the architecture of Old Québec, the series seeks less to document the city than to preserve its atmosphere.
A sensory memory of place, shaped by solitude, contemplation, and winter light.
